Kansas City Gets 8-5 Win Against Armadillos
Kansas City first baseman Air Yordong helped his team beat the Amarillo Armadillos, 8-5. Yordong, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE in home runs with 6, went 2 for 3 for the Hepcats. A Bird got the win, improving to 3-2. He worked 6 innings, giving up 5 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 6. Matthew Murdock finished to wrap up his 2nd save.

Joe Kirkland hit a 2-run double off Rene-Antoine LePouvoirs in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Hepcats in front, 7-5. In addition to the double, Kirkland had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Hepcats manager .

The Hepcats improved their record to 17-12 by beating Amarillo.
