The Brew City Bears faced a tough opponent in Kansas City pitcher Biggus Tittious Smittious, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House by a final score of 5-4. Smittious went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win gives Brew City a season record of 20-9.

Brew City took a 3-1 lead on Melo Misteur's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Misteur hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Kansas City pitcher Dennis Martinez shaking his head.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Misteur said after the game.
