The Amarillo Armadillos beat the Brew City Bears, 6-4, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Amarillo third baseman Gary Love banged out 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. The Armadillos go to 10-20 with the win.
The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Love hit a 2-run double off Zaxby Chan. It propelled the Armadillos into the lead, 3-1.
"I felt good up there," said Love. "I saw the ball well."
