Tony Soprano was instrumental in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Puerto Rico Ranas. The left fielder went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Brew City Bears. Xavier Zickafoose got the win, improving to 3-3. He held the Ranas to 1 run on 3 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 4. Joseph Kelley recorded his 2nd save for Brew City.
Brew City designated hitter Srevor Tory helped the Bears go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Tory hit a run-scoring single off Puerto Rico pitcher Ottov Yeoj [BOT].
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Soprano.
The win gives Brew City a season record of 20-12.
