Jared Keeso was at the head of a Brew City hit parade at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. The right fielder went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Bears to a nice 13-4 victory over the Anchorage Wheelers.

"I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Keeso told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today."

Wheelers skipper said later that the club gave up "too much plate."

"Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

Jared Keeso singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jiggs Kingman in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Brad Van de Hat in the 8th.

For the season, Keeso is batting .319 with 45 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 26 times and batted in 28.
