Rougarous 5-2 Winners Over Seattle
The New Orleans Rougarous picked up a win at Full Moon Stadium, downing the Seattle Sea Serpents, 5-2. On the mound for New Orleans was left-hander Rotgut Whiskey, who played a pivotal role in the win. Antonio Abner earned the save for New Orleans, his 3rd of the year. The Rougarous bumped their record to 34-25 with this latest triumph.

Udo Bonga dealt the Sea Serpents a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and New Orleans leading 3-2, Bonga, who is tied for 5th in the Champions in runs scored with 45, hit a 1-2 splitter for a run-scoring single.

In postgame comments to the New Orleans Today, Bonga said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
