The Detroit Demons racked up a win at The Power House, bumping off the Buffalo Surge, 4-2. Shohei Ohtani, who started for Detroit, pitched effectively for his team. Hercules Mulligan, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. With the win, Detroit raised its record to 33-21.

Biff Slamous, the top prospect , had a direct impact on the outcome. Slamous contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Detroit up, 2-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Slamous told the Detroit Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
