The Vancouver Vandals had to overcome a good performance from Buffalo pitcher Brigham Irons to claim a 3-2 win at The Scudder Forty-Three Stadium. Irons went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Vancouver reliever Capsaicin Shrub got the win, raising his record to 1-2. Lucas Winnolito was tagged with the loss. Vancouver has now won 3 straight, while the Surge have lost 3 in a row.

Vancouver won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Lucas Winnolito on the mound for Buffalo, designated hitter Danny Burgers hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Vandals fans to their feet.
