Seattle Hot Streak Continues with 3-1 Win
|
Seattle rode a good effort from starter Aria Bluesky to beat the Outer Banks Aviators at The Island. The final score was 3-1. The third-place Sea Serpents have won 8 straight.
Seattle used a timely hit from Jim Hawkins to get the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sea Serpents ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
Afterward, Sea Serpents manager was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
