Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Puerto Rico Ranas and Kansas City Hepcats.

Kansas City got a decent performance from pitcher Bendrick Hollows, but it wasn't enough to beat the Puerto Rico Ranas. Puerto Rico won the Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium contest, 5-3. Hollows threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Puerto Rico pitcher Lucas Trenson got the win. He's now 1-5. Bendrick Hollows was tagged with the loss.

The Ranas got a big at-bat from left fielder Cai Brummer. For the game, Brummer was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Puerto Rico a 3-0 lead.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Brummer said.

Puerto Rico goes to 23-25, Kansas City to 25-23.
