Brew City Bears starter Fletcher Jones kept the California Firehawks hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-2 win. Erik Mander picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Slippin' Jimmy was tagged with the loss. The win boosted Brew City to 36-24.

In the bottom of the sixth, Brew City shortstop Thicker Thick McThicc had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 3rd and two out, McThicc stroked a run-scoring single to center.
