Cancun Win Divisional Series Monday, September 21st , 2048 The Cancun Toros took time to celebrate with the Cancun fans who stuck around after the game, following the team's Divisional Series triumph over the Death Valley Scorpions. Members of the Toros hung around chatting, high-fiving and taking pictures with the Cancun fans in attendance at The House that Shue Built, long after the last pitch had been thrown in their 1-0 win to seal the series 3-1. "We've got great fan support," said right fielder Schumi Hulkenvettel. "Whether we're at home or on the road, the fans support us. So we wanted to show them how important that is to us. Some Death Valley fans that were there even congratulated us on the win." For the series, Hulkenvettel hit .286 with a .444 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. Things weren't so cordial on the Scorpions side of things. Their clubhouse was closed to media after the game and all players and coaches quickly dressed and left the stadium after the end to their season.
