Scorpions Prevail, as Conference Finals Goes to the Wire Saturday, October 3rd , 2071 The sweet swing of Daniel Plainview has led his team through the Conference Finals. The Death Valley Scorpions star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Indianapolis Apex to advance to the World Series. The Scorpions won the final game at Cari Price Memorial Stadium by a score of 8-7 and the series 4-3. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Plainview. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Plainview hit .375 with a .412 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 9 runs.
