Bernard Spectacular in 13-0 Win Sunday, May 1st , 2072 Maurice Bernard was throwing strikes early and getting ahead in the count, his manager said after the Indianapolis Apex hurler tossed a 3-hit, complete game shutout against the Providence Crabs. "I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said Bernard. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked.
