Child Goes Cycling Sunday, May 8th , 2072 Getting 4 hits is a good day by any measure, but when those include a single, double, triple and a home run -- that's something special. Gnome Child's day was a special one. The center fielder hit for the cycle to spark the Cancun Toros to a 10-5 victory over the New Orleans Rougarous at Full Moon Stadium today. Cancun manager said he thought the whole lineup looked good in batting practice, but had not been expecting anything extraordinary from Child in particular. "Gnome caught me by surprise today," the skipper said. "He looked good before the game, but man, he looked unbelievable during it." For the day, Child finished with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored to go with his 4 hits. Gnome Child tripled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Yeet Aball in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
