Jim Hawkins savored such a moment today, going 4-for-5 and hitting for the cycle against the New Orleans Rougarous. Unfortunately for Hawkins, that was all he could savor, as his Seattle Sea Serpents lost the contest by a score of 4-3. After the game, the left fielder was in no mood to talk about the hitting feat, calling it "pointless trivia." "Nobody cares if I went 0-for-5 or 1-for-5 or 4-for-5," Hawkins said. "4-3. That's the only line anyone around here cares about today."
