Super Swinger -- Mander Slams 5 Hits Wednesday, August 3rd , 2072 Jerry Mander really sizzled at the plate in today's 4-2 win over Stars. The San Antonio right fielder blistered Nashville for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Mander was too tough to get out today," the Stars skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Jerry Mander singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Kenny DeNunez in the 8th.
