Lunar Base Moves on to Conference Finals
Saturday, September 21st , 2058
John Marston paused momentarily when asked what it means to him to be named MVP of the Divisional Series.
"It means we're one step closer to winning the World Series, as they normally don't give this to players on the losing team," he said with a smile. "I do feel fortunate to win the award though, I had a lot of fun out there."
Marston made his comments only moments after his Lunar Base Space Rangers had knocked out the Detroit Demons to advance to the Conference Finals. Lunar Base won the final game by a 5-3 count at Demon's Lair at Laser Park and clinched the series 3-1.
Marston had a 0.00 ERA over 6.2 innings pitched, with 6 strikeouts and a 2-0 record.
The Conference Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
