Scorpions Prevail, as Divisional Series Goes to the Wire Friday, September 23rd , 2072 It went the distance, but the Death Valley Scorpions finally disposed of the Indianapolis Apex 5-3 in the series clincher at The Brickyard. Winning the finale gave the Scorpions the series, 3-2. They will now advance to the Conference Finals. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Death Valley catcher Daniel Plainview. He batted .450 in the series, collecting 2 RBIs and scoring 4 runs. "Daniel deserves it," said Scorpions manager . "He was the glue that held our club together."
