Scorpions Win Conference Finals Sunday, October 2nd , 2072 The Death Valley Scorpions "bent but didn't break" against the Cancun Toros in the Conference Finals. That's according to Daniel Plainview of Death Valley, who was named series MVP. "Our guys faced adversity and overcame it. This series wasn't easy, but we stuck to our game and made it work," he said. Death Valley won the final game by a 4-1 count and the series 4-2. Plainview's MVP performance included hitting .360 with a .370 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 7 runs.
