Hits Galore: Giannoulas Drills 5 Hits Saturday, May 20th , 2073 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Death Valley's 7-3 win over New Orleans, first baseman Ted Giannoulas was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Giannoulas said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Ted Giannoulas hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Juicy Jumbo in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th, singled in the 12th and singled in the 14th.
