Kruger 5-for-5 Against Seattle Tuesday, June 28th , 2067 No matter what the Seattle Sea Serpents threw at him today, Ben Kruger hit it. He easily handled Sea Serpents pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Voyagers to a 18-3 triumph at Vaughn's House. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Kruger's quip, Sea Serpents skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Ben Kruger hit a two-run home run off Sebastian Telfair in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a three-run double in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off James Filtipaldi in the 8th. Looking at his season stats, Kruger has compiled a .300 batting average and a .389 on-base percentage, while hitting 11 home runs and driving in 38 runs.
