Murphy Reaches 1500 Milestone Tuesday, September 5th , 2073 The day belonged to Troy Murphy of the Cancun Toros as he became the latest player to reach the 1500-hit plateau. He did it in Cancun's 7-3 win over Indianapolis. "It's a moment I'll never forget," said Murphy after the game. "1500 hits is a lot. It puts you in a very select group.
