Stirling Gets 5 Hits Friday, May 4th , 2074 No matter what the Lunar Base Space Rangers threw at him, Scottie Stirling hit it. He easily handled Space Rangers pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Toros triumph, 15-9, at Lunar Base SkyDome. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Stirling's quip, Space Rangers skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Scottie Stirling hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
