3-HR Day for McLovin Jr.

McLovin Jr. was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 10-8 Vancouver Vandals triumph at The Island.
The 31-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Vandals past the Outer Banks Aviators.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," McLovin Jr. told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The first baseman went 3-for-5, rung up 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.
McLovin Jr. hit a solo-shot off Lanky Schramm in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Food Poisoning in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Doc Holliday in the 9th.
This season, McLovin Jr. is hitting .291 with 113 hits, 28 home runs, 86 RBIs, scored 64 runs and played in 101 games.
