He easily handled Raptors pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Vandals triumph, 13-1, at The Thunderdome. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Lansdell's quip, Raptors skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Ashton Lansdell singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
