Vancouver Advances to Conference Finals Monday, September 24th , 2074 With a narrow 3-2 series win, the Vancouver Vandals have eliminated the San Antonio Sloths and are Divisional Series winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the Conference Finals, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said center fielder Steven Strange, who was named series MVP. Vancouver won the final game by a score of 9-3, wrapping it up at The Thunderdome. Strange's big series saw him hit .417 with a .417 on-base percentage.
