Vancouver Wins Conference Finals
Thursday, October 4th , 2074
The fans in Vancouver are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in New York.
The Vancouver Vandals finished off the New York Voyagers 9-2 in the deciding game of the Conference Finals played at Vaughn's House.
They took the series 4-3 and will now head to the World Series.
For his standout play, Vancouver third baseman Ashton Lansdell was voted the series' Most Valuable Player.
He batted .370, drove in 6 runs and scored 5 to lead his club to victory.
"We could never really figure out how to pitch to Lansdell and that doomed us," said Voyagers manager . "Hats off to Vancouver, though. That was a great series."
The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Finals finishes.
