New York Takes Divisional Series Saturday, September 21st , 2075 The Divisional Series may not have lived up to the expectation that it would be a dogfight that would go the distance. The New York Voyagers, however, are not complaining. The Voyagers were plenty happy to have wrapped up the series early and to have knocked out the Outer Banks Aviators to advance to the Conference Finals. New York won the final game by a 14-2 count at The Island and the series 3-1. Voyagers right fielder Ethan Shadow was named series MVP, as he hit .500 with a .556 on-base percentage. He added 2 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. "It's not going to be the last time Outer Banks makes it to the playoffs, so it's sure a nice feeling to put them out this year," Shadow said. "We just need to keep this going and take it day by day." The Conference Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
