New York Takes Conference Finals Monday, October 5th , 2076 It went the distance, but the New York Voyagers finally disposed of the Providence Crabs 8-0 in the series clincher at Vaughn's House. Winning the finale gave the Voyagers the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the World Series. The Most Valuable Player Award went to New York catcher Brian Payne. He batted .355 in the series, collecting 4 RBIs and scoring 5 runs. "Brian deserves it," said Voyagers manager . "He was the glue that held our club together."
