Drome 5-for-6 for Toronto
Monday, September 6th , 2077
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Toronto's 8-7 win over Outer Banks, left fielder Palin Drome was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at The Lodge.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Drome said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Palin Drome doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and tripled in the 10th.
This year, Drome is hitting at a .261 pace with no home runs and 29 RBIs. He has played in 101 games and scored 58 times.
