Toros Move on to Conference Finals Tuesday, September 21st , 2077 The Cancun Toros didn't hold back their excitement after beating the Nashville Stars in the Divisional Series tonight. Members of the team rushed onto the field and celebrated joyously when the victory became official, with a 12-1 win moving the club on to the Conference Finals, clinching a 3-1 series win in front of the Gibson Soundstage crowd. "This isn't the big one, but of course we need to get through this before we can win a World Series, so it's an important step," said Myles Meredith as he took a break from celebrating. "Our guys are happy and excited to be moving on." Meredith was named series MVP, as he hit .450 with a .450 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 8 runs. On the other side of the diamond, there was desolation. Many members of the Stars sat stone-faced in their dugouts, simply watching Cancun celebrate.
