Boise Draws Blanks Against Pebbles
Wednesday, June 8th , 2078
Crabby Pebbles was in a mood to talk following the Providence Crabs contest against the Boise Raptors, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Raptors, 8-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Pebbles said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Boise on a 3-hitter, allowing 2 walks and racking up 11 strikeouts.
Thus far this season, Pebbles has worked 69.1 innings with 82 strikeouts en route to a 4-4 record and a 3.38 ERA.
