Slamous Reaches 1500 Sunday, July 23rd , 2079 Demons catcher Biff Slamous never thought his name would be associated with some of the great players in league history. Now that he has reached the 1500-hit threshold, that's all but guaranteed. Slamous collected his big hit in a 5-1 loss to Cancun. Afterward, he thought about the achievement: "Overwhelmed," he said. "That's how I feel about it right now." Slamous went 1-for-3 for the game. In his 1363-game career Slamous is batting .277 with 367 doubles, 26 triples, 204 home runs and 810 RBIs.
