He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what McGraw of the Seattle Sea Serpents did against the Death Valley Scorpions. He went to the plate 6 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 5-4. "Not much I can say," offered McGraw in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Gator McGraw hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and flied out in the 11th.
