Toros Advance to Conference Finals Wednesday, September 20th , 2079 The New Orleans Rougarous were simply overmatched by the Cancun Toros in the Divisional Series. The end result was a sweep, as Cancun has cruised to the Conference Finals, with the final win coming at Full Moon Stadium by a score of 6-2. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Myles Meredith, who was named MVP of the Divisional Series. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Meredith hit .583 with a .571 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 2 runs.
