Nashville Advances to World Series Tuesday, October 3rd , 2079 It went the distance, but the Nashville Stars finally disposed of the Cancun Toros 9-8 in the series clincher at Gibson Soundstage. Winning the finale gave the Stars the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the World Series. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Nashville center fielder Videl Valor III. He batted .429 in the series, collecting 5 RBIs and scoring 11 runs. "Videl deserves it," said Stars manager . "He was the glue that held our club together."
