Devante Moore got his name recorded today, but the Outer Banks Aviators picked up the win at The Island, topping the New York Voyagers, 11-10. "He bushwhacked us," said winning manager . Moore, who is tied for 6th in the Legends with a .973 OPS, spoke to reporters in the clubhouse following the game, saying his nerves only set in once he was on the cusp of the milestone. "I got too much adrenaline going when I realized that this could be a once-in-a-lifetime day," the designated hitter said. "I think the coaches could tell I was going to be ready to swing at anything close. That's why my third base coach told me to calm down and wait for a good pitch. That got me back on track." Devante Moore grounded out in the 1st, tripled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Doc Holliday in the 6th, singled in the 8th, hit a three-run home run off Chudigal Son in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
