Sea Serpents Pitching Ravaged by Baltz Saturday, August 17th , 2080 The Providence Crabs stopped the Seattle Sea Serpents by a score of 9-2 at The Aquadome, with the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Seymour Baltz. The 31-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Baltz said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Baltz did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Sea Serpents. "Not much that I can say," offered Seattle manager . "He just hammered the heck out of us." Seymour Baltz doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Lilo Pelekai in the 9th. This season in 86 games, Baltz is batting .260 with 9 home runs, 50 RBIs and has scored 51 times. View Boxscore View Game Log Watch Highlights |
