Kahn Shuts Out Dublin Saturday, August 17th , 2080 The Dublin Rebels manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Nashville Stars. The Rebels were overpowered by Nashville starter Ultimo Kahn, who hurled his club to victory, 2-0. "It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," said. Over 9 innings, Kahn blanked Dublin on 4 hits with no walks and 6 strikeouts. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Kahn said. "I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one." His record this season is 11-4 in 22 starts and Kahn has a 3.16 ERA. View Boxscore View Game Log Watch Highlights |
