McKenzie Makes 200 Mark
Sunday, June 9th , 2069
The Providence Crabs had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 8-6 decision to Vancouver. The reason -- the splendid slugger Kurtis McKenzie hit his 200th career homer in today's contest at The Pot.
"I'm fortunate to be here," McKenzie told the media after the game. "The Crabs have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #200 was for them."
During his 1119-game career McKenzie has batted .283 and collected 1236 hits, 200 home runs and 669 RBIs.
