Semi-FInals Goes the Distance, State College Prevails Sunday, October 4th , 2054 A classic and dramatic Semi-FInals has wrapped up, with the State College Swift Steeds outlasting the Kansas City Hepcats to advance to the World Series. State College won the final game by a score of 3-2 and took the series 4-3. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said State College catcher Jason Ladley, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Ladley hit .440 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Semi-FInals finishes.
