Lopez Silences Anchorage, 6-0 Friday, September 9th , 2072 All went well for Cesar Lopez of the Louisville Lemurs as he pitched his team to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Anchorage Wheelers, limiting them to 4 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Lopez on the day. "Cesar's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Lemurs manager . "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful." In the contest, the Louisville left-hander rang up 2 and surrendered no walks. "He didn't give us any second chances," said Wheelers manager . "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
