Chicago Southpaw Tosses 1-0 Shutout

Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Kansas City Hepcats as starter Jazz Hands shut them out, 1-0, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. The Chicago pitcher struck out 2 and walked 0 while allowing 6 hits.
"Hands was good but he wasn't flawless," Kansas City manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Chicago, but this is on us."
To date this season, Hands sports a 4-3 mark with a 2.42 ERA in 9 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .263 batting average and has 37 strikeouts in 67 innings.
