5-for-5 Day for Braun Wednesday, June 21st , 2073 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Matthew T. Braun of the State College Swift Steeds . Braun went on a tear at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons and cracked hit after hit off California pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 22-year-old center fielder had a career 5-for-5 day and something he will long remember. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview. Despite Braun's personal accolades, the California Firehawks walked off the field with the 2-1 win. Matthew T. Braun singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Slippin' Jimmy in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
