Breaker Rips State College for 5 Hits Saturday, April 30th , 2067 Ranas center fielder Sim Breaker had his way with State College pitching today at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Swift Steeds ruined his great day by toppling the Ranas, 10-8. "I had a great day, but you've got to give State College credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Breaker did today," Swift Steeds skipper said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Sim Breaker singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 9th, singled in the 10th and was hit by a pitch in the 13th.
