Hits Galore: Nerd Drills 5 Hits Sunday, June 3rd , 2068 No matter what the Puerto Rico Ranas threw at him today, Alpha Nerd hit it. He easily handled Ranas pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Lemurs to a 9-4 triumph at Kenny Payne Appreciation Stadium. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Nerd's quip, Ranas skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Alpha Nerd hit a two-run home run off Jean-Jacques François Jacques-Jean in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jean-Jacques François Jacques-Jean in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Punish Vandals in the 8th.
