Mathys Hendry Muzzles California Bats Friday, May 11th , 2074 In a remarkable performance, Chicago Kingpins starter Joseph Mathys Hendry beat the California Firehawks, 8-0, in an impressive 4-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Kingpins hurler finished with 7 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," California manager said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
