Babipperson Blisters Amarillo Friday, June 1st , 2074 Dave Babipperson exploded for a barrage of base hits at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. The Chicago shortstop had a field day in his team's 7-4 triumph over the Amarillo Armadillos, finishing 6-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Babipperson must have focused at least 6 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Dave Babipperson hit a solo-shot off Snack Reacher in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Snack Reacher in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
