Crag Sensational, 5-for-5 Wednesday, July 25th , 2074 Even as a kid, Durian Crag said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House, Crag showed how well he learned that lesson. The 21-year-old third baseman had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Brew City Bears, helping his team knock off the Amarillo Armadillos by a score of 10-3. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did." Durian Crag singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year, Crag has collected a .291 batting average to date with 86 hits in 296 at-bats, 44 RBIs, 12 home runs and scored 35 times. He has played in 69 games.
