Bears Prevail, as Semi-FInals Goes to the Wire Thursday, October 4th , 2074 In a series that had a little bit of everything, the Brew City Bears have edged the Florida Flamingos. The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested Semi-FInals, with a 13-6 win in the clincher being the difference for Brew City and giving them the ticket to the World Series with a 4-3 series triumph. "We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Jared Keeso, who was named series MVP. For the series, Keeso hit .480 with a .533 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 4 runs.
